Society Meetings at Stampex

Thanks to feedback from our previous shows, we are delighted to be able to offer Meeting Space for societies on all four days, not just the Saturday. There are two spaces available: a custom built area on the Village Green, and use of the Stampex Talks Auditorium (also on the Village Green, with AV equipment provided). You will find the latest availability and hire costs below. Spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
We would like to thank all societies who join us at Stampex - your attendance, promotion and financial contribution all help us ensure that this important show remains part of the hobby for many years to come.

What is Stampex at the BDC?
Stampex is organised by The Philatelic Traders’ Society and is proudly sponsored by Spink. It is the largest philatelic collectibles fair in the UK with International exposure. The Stampex brand is also recognised globally through its Virtual and Online offerings.
Stampex at the BDC is hosted in central London, the show brings the philatelic community together, welcoming businesses, societies, exhibitors, influencers and hobbyists from all over the world.
The four-day show gives people the chance to enjoy the hobby, learn something new, connect with friends, and add items to their collection, or enquire about selling a collection.
The new look and feel show is continually evolving and now features the Stampex Talks Auditorium, a Youth Zone, a Postcrossing Event, Tours, an Exhibiting Experience, Roundtable Discussions and Society Meetings.
The show is open to all, but to protect our visitors we only offer marketing and stands/tables to PTS Members. All our PTS Members are referenced prior to being welcomed into the society.

Join us at Stampex 2023
We would be delighted to invite you to join us at the show.
We have two new Society Meeting Room spaces available at the show, and these are available to hire from ednesday to Saturday.
We have introduced this four day space thanks to feedback from societies. The number of spaces available reflects demand from previous years. We trust our new format allows more societies the flexibility to meet on a day that suits them.
Meeting Space hire starts at just £100+VAT for a 2 hour slot.
If you cannot find the right space for you and your society, you are welcome to contact the Business Design Centre direct to arrange your own room booking.
It is also possible for societies to hire a stand, or book a table top area at Stampex for the full four days. Society tables are subsidised and start at £250+VAT for the full four days. These can be "unmanned". Tables include table cloth and chairs and provide a fantastic opportunity to share leaflets and information about your society to Stampex visitors. Please contact the office for more information.
What's included in the Meeting Spaces
In the Society Meeting Space, tables and up to 30 chairs are provided. The PTS also provides light-weight transportable display frames for you to use.
In the Stampex Talks Auditorium, there will be a small number of tables, 30 chairs, and AV equipment provided. This includes a projector and projector screen, microphone and speakers as well as a podium to place your laptop/ speaker notes.
Your Meeting Space hire fee also allows us to:
• Allocate floor space and shell scheme to societies at our world class venue over 5 days – with shared use of highly professional and clean reception, toilets etc.
• Provide furniture, and pay for the teams who help set all of the furniture up!
• Provide you with improved show-specific Wi-Fi if required
• Design, print and install Society Meeting Space signage
• Pay for the organisers time including BDC Project Manager and Helen, Suzanne and Isobel, and Welcome Team
• Provide Security and First Aid Staffing
• Maintain the Stampex International Website where we will host Society Meeting information
• Promote societies via our PTS & Stampex Newsletter and all year-round @ptsandstampex social media feed across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube
• Support wider show experiences to attract new collectors and enthusiasts including Stampex Talks, Tours, Youth Zone and more!

Tickets/ Fast-track wristbands
Please remember that there is a charge for Day 1 of Stampex. Tickets are £10 incl. VAT. Tickets for Day 2-4 are FREE.
Tickets and Visitor Registration will go live at Virtual Stampex (4th - 6th May)
Visitors are asked to register in advance of the show. Visitors who do not register in advance, will be asked to register at the Welcome Desk on arrival.
For Stampex 2023, we will continue to operate a wristband system to allow visitors to come and go as they please. Wristbands help the BDC team know which visitors are attending which events within the venue.
Following feedback from last year, we want to give as many people as possible the option to book in advance and fast-track their way into the show.
We are therefore providing an option to receive your wristband in advance when you book your ticket online. There is a small charge of £2,99 for this to cover time, the system and Postage & Packaging. If you get your wristband ahead of the show, you will not need to queue at the Welcome Desk. You'll be able to walk straight past BDC security (by showing your wristband!) and straight into the show.
To help societies meeting on Wednesday, the PTS can arrange a bulk purchase of tickets for you attendees and send you all of the wristbands in one go, inclusive of the Day 1 ticket price. You just need to tell us who the tickets are for. You can then distribute these as you like.
For societies meeting early on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, the PTS can send you the wristbands for all attendees in one package for you to distribute these as you like. You just need to tell us who is attending.
Societies who have made a booking for a Meeting Space will not be charge the £2.99 wristband P&P charge when confirming bulk registration.
Auditorium Technical Support
For societies meeting in the Stampex Talks Auditorium, a guide will be provided on how to take content from a USB stick and project this on the screen, as well as how to use the audio equipment. On-site technical support is not provided. If you require technical assistance, there will be a charge for this. Please contact the PTS Office if you would like to receive a quote for this.
Availability and Pricing
Meeting Spaces are secured on a first come, first served. Those who took a space at Stampex 2022 get first refusal on space for Stampex 2023.

Thursday: 10:00 – 18:30
Friday: 10:00 – 17:30 (followed by the PTS AGM)
Saturday: 10:00 – 16:00
