Stamps do good!

How do stamps help provide compassionate care and support to people living with terminal and life-limiting illnesses? With the help of a PTS Member.


 

PTS Member, T&T Auctions shared this heartwarming story and we had to spread it more widely. Stamps make a difference to us each and every day, and when we look beyond our own collections and businesses, philatelic has so much power to change lives.

 

Hospice in the Weald, covering Kent and East Sussex in England, provides vital, compassionate care and support, free of charge, to people living with terminal and life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and loved ones. From specialist care and support at home to counselling and bereavement services, they make an enormous difference to local families when they need it most.

 

T&T recently raised an amazing £848.80 for Hospice in the Weald.

T&T said "A HUGE thank you to everyone who placed a bid for our charity lots section and helped make this happen. Every single bid makes a difference. We're incredibly proud to continue our support for such a fantastic local charity through our auctions."


When consigning with T&T, the team ask vendors if they would like to donate certain items to their charity lots section to support local charities. These are then included in their auctions in groups or slightly larger sections and auctioned off by the fantastic Rob Oulton. These lots benefit from T&T's auction publicity helping to drive interest and hammer prices up.


This charitable donation is only made possible thanks to the generosity of T&T's vendors. Every lot is appreciated.


T&T have a tower of donations already for their next auction (after Jennifer III) in time for Christmas. Keep your eyes peeled - you could bag yourself a brilliant lot AND help raise money for an amazing cause
